991.2
The pic of the car above appears to be a GT3 that someone converted to no wing. I believe this is a photo from awhile back and isn't new. While I can't see it clearly enough to read it, it doesn't appear to have a Porsche reg number on back either as many of the test mules have.

Unless you mean the 991.2 street 911 facelift. That doesn't make sense either seeing it's a turbo (and not NA) with specific intakes in the front and venting in the rear.
Am I missing something here??

So this car will be introduced early next year, and will have the 991.2 GT3 body when the 991.2 GT3 won't be out until 2018? Seems far fetched.

Sure isn't going to have the fugly 991.2 "turbo Jr." street 911 design. That I know for sure.

I hate to disagree but what is so special about a 991.1 that should justify the extended production into a car that will be a 2017 model with a 991.1 body that a 991.2 won't accomplish with a NA engine? If you then say "no it will be a 2016 model".......it would be a little odd celebrating a 49th model year anniversary vs waiting a couple more months and celebrating the 50th anniversary?

I agree. I think 991.2 GT3 will be PDK only. No way they'll offer both. Plus doesn't fit into the marketing plan.

Priced under RS and above GT3 and will be getting a $100K+ market adjustment!
