Default a long 15 days

So my GT3RS arrived Davisville, RI, cleared PDI and was cleared for transport (V810) on 9/24/15. My dealer is a 3 hour drive away, yet the Porsche tracking system is saying that it won't be in dealer inventory until 10/9. That's 15 days to go 177 miles. Are they pushing it? The car crossed the Atlantic faster than it is making the 3 hour trip to NJ.

Are others experiencing this kind of last minute delay. Really, what's the hold up?

That appears to be common with the GT3. I remember my car being in there for a bit before it got to the dealer. They told me it was due to the fact that GT3 could not go on every transport vehicle due to low ground clearance. This made sense to me at the time, although it is still hard waiting.

I am involved in a big software conversion, and it has me working 16 plus hours a day, so time is going by fast. You are welcome to help me and the time will go by fast for you too!!!!

Before long, your car will be here!!!

Good luck

Omg if my RS was 3 hrs away I would figure out a way to just pick it up and drive it to dealer/home!

I would make a call. Which dealer is it? I'm in Central NJ and would love to see one in the flesh when it arrives. A friend of mine has his scheduled for November delivery. I've been generously offered the opportunity to drive it when it arrives. It's going to be quite a wait for my .2 RS.
