So we picked up the Macan S yesterday.
Logged the first 1000 KM now. the Macan S is a pleasant surprise.
It's so quiet, solid and torquey!
120-140Mph is relaxing because quiet and very stable. Even on Scorpio snow tires.
We opted for thermal and sound insulated glass, no sunroof, no roof rails and air suspension and I think that helps.
MRS TRAKCAR approves.

As I mention before the car is plenty quick, Mrs TRAKCAR behind the wheel today in pooring rain and I didn't have sweaty hands for most of the time
The 70L fuel tank (a design leftover from Q5) is ridiculously too small..

My wife has the Macan Turbo, great car but the fuel consumption is disappointing. Seems to use about the same as my Panamera Turbo used to which considering that was a 4.8L V8 and an engine generation older isn't too impressive.

I got the Macan for my wife last summer and I must say its a great little SUV. We do have one complaint, the air vents on the drivers side are tucked behind the steering wheel which blow right on your hands, its been a little annoying trying to figure out the air flow in the car. Just a minor thing but living in FL it can get a bit irritating on long drives. My solution, turn it on full blast and put my racing gloves on

Back to the RS at Sebring.
I stupidly never tried the suspension in firm setting. It may be faster if it can still take the big bumps..
Car dives a lot under braking, Porsche set it up nose high but it comes down under braking.
The more weight on the front the harder it stops.
Still lift the front tire in T17

RS may have the same problem as the GT4...front springs way too soft. I got massive front dive under medium/heavy braking in the GT4. Hence when I went to a stiffer spring set-up.
