The Lizard has landed and has been serviced.
Of course I did numerous oils changes in Germany but also did an annual + service at the receiving US dealer so I have some service records logged at an official dealer. Did the same thing with the purple car.
Next annual service will include $8K in wheel locks, hubs and bolts.

My annual service; Belts, wipers, plugs, filter$, PDK and engine oil.
Curious to see the plugs, hopefully they last better then on the .1RS.

Sent off the oils sample to Blackstone labs and will post the baseline here once I get the results.

$3K service, the same as my first annual + service on Mr. Purple.
Porsche prices, ugh...

I will post pics of the used filters, plugs and belt once I get the car back.

Same rip off prices as in 2015..
I do this 3x annually all other stuff in between and after warranty runs out, I do with independent shops.

I figure at least Porsche can see it’s well maintained if warranty comes up.

And $882 to replace the engine air filters???? I understand the beauty of paying someone to do the work and just getting it done, but man oh man . . . .

Wipers are not cheap ($70 for parts from Suncoast)
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/991WIPER.html

But oil changes and spark plug changes are easy and a pleasure on these cars (really nice hardware compared to all other current Porsches).

I didn’t realize how lucky I was when my dealer agreed to install new accessory belt and air filters for free (labor) when they had the rear bumper off anyway to give me warranty replacement of one muffler (stuck valve).

And they look washable to me.
Ill compare these parts to what I have off my 991.RS to see any changes and compare wear.

Pretty sure it cost 30-50% less at an Indy shop.

That's double what I just paid for oil change on big red at dealer here. And I thought $275 was a rip-off. Florida tax?

If they're BMC filters as some here have said, they are washable. I put them in my GT3 while doing an exhaust swap -- got a screaming good price on them from a seller on ebay of all places.

Shop picked up the car from the dealer for ST rotors, Ti pucks in caliper, intake screens on the side intakes, BBI roll bar / harnesses and side muffler deletes.

The kicker, the dealer didn’t even wash the car.
Oh well, Porsche tax.

Yes BMC, this is what the parts looked like on Mr Purple, when I did the first annual 12,000 mile service. It was $3,100 I bellieve back then at Champion.

Wow - that belt was toast and air filters dirty. I didn't get to see my belt when it came out (nor my air filters), but glad I had them all changed when they were accessible. Did the spark plug wear look the same as the .1? The four electrodes (that arc towards center) look really worn (or is the photo deceptive?)...

Wow! I've taken my cars to Reeves in the past but lately prefer going to Vortex since they are more acclimated with aftermarket mods.

BTW, I remember that you were replacing your spark plugs pretty often in the 991.1 GT3 RS, is it the same with the 991.2? Which Ti pucks did you go with?

Reeves BMW treated me exceptionally well for service, but so far Reeves Porsche hasn't been as accommodating.
