I was hoping to get an advise from COTA frequent flyers. Thinking to ship one of the cars to COTA sometime in March to do a few days at the track.
Do you guys recommend any particular club that I should sign up with? Here in California we have a bunch of clubs and some are good and some are so so in terms of running the events. Would like to know if there is a club that most of you guys go with that organizes good, safe track days.
Thanks,
Aleks.

I concur with kyrocks. Edge Addicts is probably at COTA most often. For open track days Chin and MVP probably brings in a higher level of driver along with being very well run. That being said I run with Edge Addicts quite often and rarely have issue other than drivers in the more experienced groups that don't pay as much attention as they should.

Thanks for the feedback ... Seems like Chin and Edge Addicts are the most popular.
I'll try to reach out and see if they have a schedule for next year. We have a group of 5-6 guys who wants to come so should be fun.

Edge addicts was very well run today. No problems at all (other than a vette into the wall which pushed run groups out a bit). Lots of staff to keep things smooth. Relaxed atmosphere. I experienced no issues with awareness in white group. Thumbs up.

Any thoughts on how they compare with Chin?

I've driven and instructed with more than a dozen organizations at more than a dozen tracks, but have gotten to the point where Chin events take priority on my schedule over all others because I consider them to be the best by a significant margin.
