GT4 to get PDK confirmed by AP
If true and the GT4 is definitely getting a PDK box, I may be very tempted to swap given the frustration I am experiencing getting my dealer to confirm my GT3 allocation, …..and especially considering there is a 60K euro difference in price.

Great.......The gt3 couldn't get a manual?

Don't think anything was 'confirmed' by A.P. - and the '2 or 3 days' has passed with no news. Do you really think Porsche would reveal important info on a new option on a GT car to someone doing euro delivery as opposed to doing a press release?

Seriously....
Edit: But then there would be no point for the GT4 to have been created in the first place.

Personally, the only reason I would want the 4 is for the manual trans. Lower price point helps somewhat, but risk of higher production volumes for the GT4 (my speculation based on the PDK announcement).

I really don't mind a PDK GT4. Not for me,otherwise I would've had a GT3,but choice is good. My point is about how much can one trust a Porsche executive in a private conversation about future plans in a secretive market...

I wouldn't trust that conversation either.
Porsche missed the boat. They could have charged extra for a 6 speed on the GT3 and sold quite a few. Not like them to miss out on low hanging fruit.

If there were manual option in GT3, I would not have gotten the GT4 allocation and sold the 3.
