Default Aftermarket exhaust for 991RS

Anyone here already put on aftermarket exhaust on the new 991RS? Any feedbacks regarding the power and sound? Feel free to post some sound clips if you have

Waiting on the delivery driver! I think the GT4 and GT3 RS were sent on different trucks from the midwest, the GT4 coming first

Not that it's something to complain about, I am just more excited to see the RS!!

Good thing yours is on delivery! Me I have to wait for 7 more weeks! So I have more time to decide if I'll keep it stock exhaust or change to aftermarket…

I personally think that headers with high flow cats, OR catless headers paired with a side muffler bypass will be the perfect set up.

I'd like to find a way to brace the OEM Ti center section so that you can run side muffler bypass pipes for hard track use and not have to worry about fatigue.

Good idea! So we can still retain the stock ti center mufflers right? Will the PSE on/off button still work?

Yes, as long as you do side muffler bypass pipes with valves and keep your stock center section. I drove a 991 GT3 with race headers(no cats)and side muffler bypass pipes with valves and that car is what opened my eyes!! I really think that once more people start getting the side muffler bypass pipes that the center muffler bypass pipe popularity will start to dwindle.

I lust so badly for a GT3 of any generation and any configuration. You all are a lucky bunch.

What about the CEL for cat delete headers? Do you have ecu tune already for the RS? We won't need tuning for the 200cell cats right? No cel for that?

No tuning needed for the 200 Cells, and that is what most people end up using. I will need to have the RS here to verify 100% that we can tune it with our in house tuner for the catless headers.

I can't wait to get the car here!!

Will we lose torque for catless headers? I mean from your 997.2 RS experience

I am not so sure, it will be interesting to see if there is a difference because of the 4.0l engine. Generally, you can run the chance of losing a small amount of tq low in the RPM by deleting the cats but then make gains in hp and tq above a certain RPM.

I am excited to see what will work best

Keep us posted! btw, will the design of the headers also the same with the 3.8 GT3? Even if it's a 4.0L engine already?
