Default Auto Gallery 2016 GT3 35K over MSRP

Let these guys ask what they want. Who cares. If they were getting 35K over, it would be sold in hours. There's a reason why it's still for sale.

Someone will probably walk away with 10-15K over sticker.

The difference with the GT cars is that they artificially limit production below demand to create hype and want. This is all by design. They don't have that problem with the other models...
well i don't want to pay any more either.
but honestly, it doesn't take a genius to look at what has happened in the market for GT3s/RSs and come to the conclusion that they underpriced them to market... they could have charged more and probably would not have lost many sales...or made it up on profit

but again, this thread is getting too economically thick

On the specialty cars Porsche will eventually follow Ferrari and start to raise MSRP and charge crazy dollars for optional equipment...its just a question of when.

The stripe on the 458 speciale is 11k and the lifter is 6k.

Hoehn Porsche has a loaded 2016 agate GT3 sitting in the showroom asking 25k over. They also have a 2007 black/orange GT3RS asking $169k. I have no affiliation with the dealer, just sharing the info.

Ha! Yeah, they were already on my DNB (do not buy) list from a blown-up deal with a Cayenne. I can't say enough bad things about those guys. Worst ever.

So the $65k PTS paint option on a 918 isn't already there. Porsche is there already with the options.

Unless you are planning on buying all three cars you are playing the game too.

So to further prove the point the '07 RS Pumpkin that a member has for sale on Rennlist is going for 137K and in my mind is where the car should be in terms of it's real value. However Hoehn seems to think theirs is worth 169K. Furthermore a dealer in TX called me yesterday about another '07 RS Pumpkin he had just obtained and said I'm going to ask 169K are you interested? I said did you know the same car optioned even better was in the Rennlist classifieds for 137K and he said"oh" I guess I can't list it for 169K...

So there you have it, no research really, just a dealer willing to throw 30K or more right on top of what they obtained a used RS for without blinking.

If I do get allocations from all 3 I will buy all 3 cars...one as a garage queen, one as a track car, and one as a weekend driver (the poor man's version of Mr. Anonymous).

Now you got me curious, how did that Cayenne deal blow up? Do tell...

That stealership is dead to me...they on my "do not do any business with no matter what" dealer list along with Beverly Hills, Champion, Carlsen, and Scottsale just to name a few.

Well to start, they offered $58k for my trade, which was a 2-week old, $90k MSRP black/black Macan Turbo with less than 800 miles... and it only went downhill from there. Typical gamey BS between the sales guy and manager playing good cop, bad cop, etc etc etc. Slimeballs
