Default Ordered 2 Recaro Profi XL's

After running a DE at Lime Rock on Thursday, I'm tired of getting sore all over from holding myself with my left leg and arms. So I ordered 2 of these:

I'll be trying them out at Palmer on 9/4 and 9/5

I'm actually getting the same harness also - Schroth Profi II but in red

Nice! Those look great. I'm about to do a cage, seats and harness as well.

Those Recaro looks nice, I am planning to put Recaro Hans seat for the driver side only from a 997.2 GT3, does anyone know if the railing a direct fit to 991 GT3, and won't trigger airbag light? Currently, I have the Carbon sport seat.

The floor mounting holes should be the same. No way to not trigger the airbag light unfortunately. You'll have to live with it on while using the Recaro's, you can clear the codes once you put the factory seats back.

Very interested in reading your comments when the seats are installed; once I get a 991GT3 this is going to be my first mod.
As far as I know, GMG sell a mounting bracket for Racing buckets.

You can get the airbag light coded out.

I meant 'YOUR' measurements. Lol

I've got a very wide back (size 52 jacket) and can't even come close to fitting in the OEM LWB's. So I'm curious as to people's personal experience.
I'll also be reaching out to vendors directly to discuss options.

Thanks though!

You can have the side bolster airbags coded out but not the occupancy sensor in the passenger seat. If you want to do both seats w/o an airbag light you will need to remove the sensor from your passenger seat. It's not hard but it required more disassembly than I wanted to do.
