Default First Track Day (16 GT3)

I had my first track day in my 16 GT3 yesterday and it was nothing short of amazing! Not only is the car far more then I anticipated, I had the opportunity to have Sloan Urry (http://sloanurryracing.com/), a Pirelli World Challenge Cup driver, ride with me and coach me throughout the afternoon. What a great kid! After the first session he asked me if I would like to take a few laps with him behind the wheel to better see the proper lines around Miller Motorsports Park and I obviously said "hell yeah"! Well, you think you can drive until you get to experience that ride! Really gives you an idea of what the car is really capable of in the right hands. With his coaching I picked up bunch of time and really enjoyed the time he spent with me! I know Sloan is a Rennlist follower so if you read this Sloan...thanks again for all your help! Can't wait for the next track day!

One of the Rennlist members has his avatar picture of a blue and black Cup car airborne over some curbing. That's Sloan in qualifying at VIR. Crazy picture. He has had 8 podiums this year and I plan on going out to Miller to watch him in a few weeks when the series comes to town! Cheers!

Glad to know that you are enjoying the GT3 already. I might not have the 2,000 break-in miles on the GT4 for Spring Mountain so I may bring up my 991 GT3 to the track. Hope you make it out to Spring Mountain next month.

2,000 break-in miles? isn't that a bit excessive?

This. There is no reason to wait 2000 miles.

I got 1500 miles on the car before the track day! Plenty of 4k rpm putting around. Way happier now that it got to stretch its legs!
