I've ridden in cars with both. GMG is deeper, bolder and quite a bit louder than the Shark. Very good sound - a little "junkier" or "nastier" (imo in a good way) with pops and burbles.
Shark is very refined, louder than stock but with a sound profile like stock. Sounds awesome and is definitely the milder of the two.
The button makes a big difference for either one.
