LWB swap for 18 ways

Has anyone done a swap from 18 ways to LWB's? I am about to do it but I have been told it will not work, harness and wiring aren't compatible.

That's correct.

It's not a direct plug-and-play. Need additional/different wiring.

To put in LWBS after 18ways? What would the LWBS have that the 18 didn't?

Harness has to be the same, its that yellow thing that every german car is using
