1100 miles and I noticed a few chips on my platinum rims

When I purchased my GT3 I also purchased the wheel and tire protection in which the dealer assured me I can make unlimited trips in to take care of rock chips

 

Almost 4000 miles on my black ones and not a chip. (Had the self inflicted curb rash fixed!-haha) For those perfectionists though, you have to exercise some caution in washing them to avoid swirl type marks--which are only visible when you get up close in a certain light. I have the PCCBs , which generate little dust, so a gentle wash works well.
