Yes. Let's meet up this Saturday! Where and what time? Can you also post the time and location here? I don't have Facebook.

Hey guys, I'm thinking 8:00 a.m. meet up if that works with everyone. I'm checking on one location and if that doesn't work, we'll look for a Starbucks, Peets or Panera near the 210 and 2 freeways.

Details will be posted soon.

LOCATION AND MEET TIME

So, we have special permission to meet at Rusnak Pasadena Porsche this Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. to meet-up. Coffee will be available! If you've never been to this dealership, be advised that there are customer parking spots when you enter and we should be able to park there as well as overflow a little bit.

Rusnak Pasadena
325 W Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105

We'll head over to Newcombs from there. I think for this little run we'll just head to Newcombs and if folks like the run, later in the year we can do the rest of the mountain. Or, if folks wish to split off after brunch, of course they're welcome to do so.

I've lost track of our list but, if people wish to be added or removed, it would be helpful if you post so we have an idea of head count.

ATTENDEES

1. HFM (August 15, 22, 29, September 5)
2. victor21 (open)
3. gt2urbo (next month)
4. jooyoung (15, 22)

See you guys there. I'll bring my GT4. I want to see if I can keep up with the GT3s. It should be fun.

You will have no problem keeping up for two reasons.

One reason is the road is zero tolerance so, 1 MPH over speed limit will get you a ticket so, while we will likely be going a bit faster in spots, we're not going to be doing silly stupid speed.

The second and more likely reason is that it's a one-lane road with limited spots to pass. We will inevitably hit traffic and will not be passing across double yellow lines. If anything, we may have to slow or stop to let whatever is in front of us gain some space so we can get on the gas a bit.

I'm hoping an 8:00 a.m. meet up and a 8:30 a.m. departure time will be early enough but, to really have some fun, we should be setting a 6:00 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. meet time to avoid all the traffic. But, who really wants to get up at 5:00 a.m.?

I have a feeling we will lose folks if we set that early a meet time on short notice. This will probably be a small turn-out as is.

What I suggest we do, because I'd like to do a full run including parts past Newcombs on our next run, probably after Rennsport in October, is that we save the early meet-up time for that occassion.

8AM is already early enough. If I'm meeting at 6AM, I'll just do a track day instead.

If anybody wants to show up for a morning run on Sept 19, I am interesting in getting high quality audio recordings of aftermarket exhaust fly-bys.

I have an RSS and love it. I'd like to document the differences properly for all to hear on the interwebz.

We're interested but we're busy on the 19th. Are you by any chance free next Saturday or even this weekend (not Saturday AM)?
