Singer "Dubai" sighting...
Maybe of interest...
When I was at the little Porsche dealer that could in Minneapolis today picking up my GT3 from service low and behold I saw the Singer sitting in the service port. Turns out it's owned by a Minneapolis resident. Needless to say it's quite a buggy. I've seen plenty of video and plenty of press but in the flesh it's more than quite impressive. I did not know there was an interior color matched "persons face" imprinted laughing on the tach dial? Who? Someone will know I'm sure. I went looking for a flaw just for fun, checking seems, around trim pieces and anywhere you would normally see something. Nothing. I understand it's on it's way to VIR (not sure if it's for display or to drive). Fun surprise.
While I was there I got to talking to one of the salesman and it turns out my little hometown dealer has sold 2 918's 7 GT3's and 5 GT4's this season. That surprised me as I have never seen ONE of those cars at the dealer this year. Minneapolis has a pretty stout sports car culture for being pretty much a 7 month driving scene.

As seen in Monterey a few years ago. Man this car gets around! My wife saw me looking at it and said, "I want that." She's a keeper!

Absolutely in love with it. If I had the disposable income to get a Singer it would be the car for me. I think a Speciale and a Singer would be the ideal two car combo

It certainly is a sweet machine. I'm sure if I had one, I would certainly have other great cars to drive and it might just end up being somewhat of a garage queen. I guess I'II never know, since it's beyond my reach. Oh well, my GT3 will have to do for now.

No doubt a cool idea. I think the 964 is a classic to be sure. However, I can think of many ways I'd rather spend the same money
One could even restore your own 964 and buy a GT3 for less money.
I take my hat off to those that love the 964 so much they have to spend $300-500K for one, but not my path. For $500K I'd prefer a Speciale Aperta.
