Default I phone / GoPro mount bucket seats

Anyone have installed a I phone holder for Harry's lap timer / Go pro mount in the seats?

Seems like an ideal place to use Harry's lap tuner without roll bar.
I want to see my feet and hands and have a straight center of the car view out of the windshield. It wouldn't have to extend far from the seat to be roughly in the center of the car.

A rear window suction cup would need a long arm from a side window or rear window.

I imagine there is a clamp to attach to a seat with a towel or something to keep it from scratching the CF on the seats?

I've been setting mine up like this, but it's hard to see out the window.

Trakcar has no rollbar (yet), Therefore the suctioncup-thing.

I hope this will do it.

GPS receiver somewhere with skyview.
Same GPS stays stuck on the dash also in his dry laps.

He's using a GoPro but I figure I just use my I phone.

Has anyone tested this?

Good thread, Trakcar, I have the same need (albeit for far fewer Euro Delivery track days).

Maybe I can lean it against the seat, maybe its long enough to reach from the rear window or side rear window. PITA without roll bar.

Use a RamMount. Or two of them to be precise.

Use the X-grip holder for your iPhone.

Then attach that to this extender below, which you can suction to the rear panel "window".

I have a Rammount with that extender, I drove all over NZ and Australia with an I pad strapped into it.
But just by holding it, I think the Go pro thing is less wobbly; Stiffer.

Cool, I will try a little closer forward.

The gopro mount isn't necessarily more stiff or solid. I think the camera is just better. It's a 500 dedicated portable video cam, after all. Whereas the iPhone is sort of a jack-of-trades smartphone that just happens to have a video camera.

I've tried both the RamMount with an iPhone and a a GoPro setup and while the resolution was a bit better with the latter, I did not notice any significant difference in vibration between the two setups.

Sweet, but to be clear, which mount is that and what camera (iPhone or GoPro)?

I'm using an I phone 6
No GoPro, just a phone holder that holds an I phone that mounts to a GoPro suction cup with a gay **** toy looking extender thing (Maybe 2 with a Velcro strap to the head liner for stability?) to get to the center of the car.
Or maybe its long enough to reach from the rear window in the 991 (Damn those cars are big).
I can't connect to the rear window my the 964 this weekend because it has those rear window heater lines in it and the GoPro mount doesn't like that.
