Default RS style tinted tail lights

I had a set of red tail lights from my 991S spray tinted and clear coated. I like the look of the tinted tail lights on our Cayenne GTS and wanted to get a similar look. Suncoast sells the RS tinted tails for $1300. I had my extra reds tinted for $125

The tinted tail lights look a lot better. I'm not a fan of the clears.

Did my clears tinted. Liked the charcoal look against the GT Silver.

Body shop painted with a tinted automotive clear coat. With the clears you need multiple layers because if you tint the clear too dark it looks blotchy.

They still light up fine and no concerns there.

Looks great! So your lenses were the "white" clears? Nicely done. I did try the pre cut window tint film that's sold by Suncoast as a reversible option but couldn't live tith the few tiny bubbles under the film. The spray and clear route is flawless!

Thanks. Yes, the same "white" clears shown in your first picture.

I can't stand the film either and went the body shop route.

Only reason I tried the film was EVERY shop I went to said it was ILLEGAL to tint the lenses. Again the GTS came stock with tinted lenses. I'm glad I finally found someone to do it for me!. Now painting the license plate is another story!

Looks much better in tinted red. I'm not a fan of the clears on a black car. In fact, I hated clears until I got them on my birch green TTS. Looks fn awesome.
