When I first saw the 991, I said to myself, "wow, this is the best looking 911 of all time." With the 0.2 version, not so much. It looks like they changed some elements not to look better or be more functional, but just to be different. I don't like the longitudinal, thin ribs in the engine cover, and the more centrally mounted exhaust pipes are just OK, and rather remind me of the Cayman/Boxster. I suppose the engine cover is a throwback to '60s era cars, but it just seems out of place (and weren't the ribs on those older cars running width-wise, not length-wise?)

I think the R model is all hype. You want a back to basics 911 - you pick up a low option carrera with sport suspension. Done deal.
