Default Aftermarket 991 GT3 wheels for track

I have a dedicated track car (2003 996TT) but I wouldn't mind taking the old "girl" 991GT3 out to see how she performs at a DE. Any thoughts on an inexpensive set of track rims that I might consider. I would have to have any wheel damage & I have had the car wrapped in Xpel when I purchase. I'm not up on what's out there rim wise.
Thanks for any feedback

Forgelines. The are strong, lighter than stock and look great. Here's some pics of my car.

Default 19" gt3 wheels

Boys,

I have a 2015 gt3 and would like to put some 19" wheels with for r comps on her for the track,

I'm wondering what 19" centerlock options are out there?

I've found a set of Forgelines from a 2011 gt3rs, are the centerlocks the same? will these fit the 2015 (steel brakes)?

any help is appreciated...

DK

This is the HRE 19 option, very light and strong.

Umm. I think inexpensive was part of the query. I think a search may reveal more inexpensive 19" options and I want to say Forgestar makes a wheel closer to $500 each.

there is no free lunch or killer bargains in lightweight forged wheels

you get what you pay for

forgelines are probably among the best values, still, a set is $5-6K - champion ms in the same price category

forged bbs, hre, yoko advan - $7-8-9K a set

cheaper wheels are not fully forged... you can save alot of money compared to real forged but they are substantially heavier

I'd just buy another set of OEM wheels in another color IF you need a track wheel set. The OEM tires are track tires so unless you drive a ton on the street I don't see a huge case for track wheels.

Finspeed is a good alternative and they run about 3600 per set.

good point, and not a bad way to go - suncoast has them listed for 6200 a set iirc
the finish chipping on the stock wheels is the only downside

Finspeed wheels are traditionally forged and start out around $3600.
Build quality is of the highest level.

finspeed is very good
cheap is not good
there is always reason why things are cheap.
i have forgestar, i use them for holding the easy up down. they are bad enough that i refuse to sell them to others.
cheap, lwt, strength, pick any two

look around and see what the old timers are running on their cars.

+1

Or if you have to go 19" stick with BBS.

YES! 20" size as well? How concave in the OEM GT3 widths and offsets?

Yes. We currently have a 20" prototype set in the system for the 991 GT3 that currently features slightly more aggressive offsets than the OEs so similar conical profile. More to follow...
