It was about 2 years since I last drove a 911 on the track and I've gotten so used to driving the mid-engine Cayman and GT4 cars. That created a big adjustment the way I had to drive the RS...no throttle steering into the apex and later braking points with trail braking. I was dog slow first time out....5-6 seconds lower than the GT4. But then I got the hang of it and shaved off 9 seconds off my lap time by the 10th session. I was most surprised by the huge front grip of the car, it felt like the car was oversteering but it wasn't because it just had a lot more front grip than the Cayman/GT4 and didn't take as much steering input to turn. The PDK-S was awesome and shifted perfectly at the right times. The RS definitely felt more connected than the .1GT3 but felt a lot bigger than the Cayman/GT4. There was a few times when the back end started coming out on me a bit but staying on the throttle kept the car moving forward. I was very impressed with the car and made paying a premium worth it. I'll be taking the car out again next Friday to the same track and hoping to improve my lap times.

Nice looking UV RS DM....get the painted rear side markers, they go very well with the clear tail lights.

Nice lime green touches and not so common either. If only the factory did PTS calipers, I would've done them in Lime as well to match the side decal and stitching inside.

I agree with you but Porsche uses the lime green calipers on the E Hybrid cars so even if it would look good, it would not be consistent of them because the car is not.
