and far less torque and no AWD.
just proves there's more to getting around a track quickly than hp and weight...

My bad, didn't read the whole thing, so that's great news that it is a fair comparison on same rubber.
Tires are consumables, not part of the car and make an enormous difference in lap time, so they should be equal for a true comparison (rarely are for magazine articles).
If they ran the RS on 98 octane and the turbo on 87, would that be fair? Similar to tires IMO
