Is it me or does that McLaren look to have a pretty twitchy front end?

This Chinese RS review about made my day. I would still take the GT3 over the RS after trying both out at the new Atlanta Porsche Experience Center!

Thanks for posting. Impressive gap.

What is a comparable time for a GT3?

Laguna not high HP track. Would like to see similar comparison at COTA. If they didn't wrap the turbo in MPSC2, not fair either.

From the article...

"Moreover, the Turbo S is rated at 560 horsepower and 516 lb-ft (the new ’17 gets bumped to 580 hp) and had all-wheel drive and optional Dunlop Sport Maxx Race rubber from the standard GT3."

but to be fair 3,700lb/560hp vs 3,300lb/500hp equals........you guessed it: 6.6 vs 6.6

and far less torque and no AWD.

just proves there's more to getting around a track quickly than hp and weight...

My bad, didn't read the whole thing, so that's great news that it is a fair comparison on same rubber.

Tires are consumables, not part of the car and make an enormous difference in lap time, so they should be equal for a true comparison (rarely are for magazine articles).

If they ran the RS on 98 octane and the turbo on 87, would that be fair? Similar to tires IMO
