Default OBD II Bluetooth interfere with foot well?

I installed my GoPoint OBD II Bluetooth device and am concerned that because of its location low in the foot well it might be damaged?

For those of you who are using this sort of device, have you run into any problems?

This low profile extension cable would allow for the ODB II device to be relocated out of the way:

It transmits engine/car data to your phone (or other device) and allows you to read engine fault codes:

It is commonly used in conjunction with apps like Harry's Lap Timer to record things like speed, rpm, water temp, etc.

I have used it on three track days. I have not had any problems with your concern, but I have experienced problems with the GoPoint working with Harry's. It worked well the first day but its been finicky ever since. Kind of disappointed. I'm tempted to go with AIM Smarty Cam.
