Wow... This thread has spread like wildfire! I think that some people have chosen to jump to some serious conclusions, with very little fact. I can assure you of a few things. 1. The sales manager did not say that the car is ugly, quite the contrary. He happens to be a BIG fan of Gulf Blue. 2. The factual story behind the car and it's color are known to the dealer and client, as it should be and should stay. 3. I can say with great certainty that the client has no issue with the dealer. 4. I can also say, with great certainty, that the car is not available for sale.

Oh geez... I just spotted a blurb on it coming up on CNN in the next hour. I guess it has spread. They need something to report!

I tend to agree it's not your fault since the SA " almost passed out " when he saw the car...

Odd, I understand all of the Townson staff passed the "What color is the Dress" test last week, with flying colors. Same color either way, just the Golf Blue comes with little tiny dimples that catch the light differently, do wonders for top speed and control in spins.

Why don't you use it to your advantage?
Geez, I'd be polite, introduce yourself, and offer to send your contact info. Obviously you can't do anything for this car, but calm down a bit. You're sounding very defensive.
