I purchased a brand new 15' GR GT3 5 days ago.
For the first three days I drove 300 miles and the car has been in parking lot for 48 hours.
When I started the car moment ago, there's a warning message about the tire pressure and it seems driver side rear one has lost about 1/2 of air over two days


What should I do and what should I expect?
This is the first set of MPSCs I ever tried;
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms for GT3?
Can the tire be fixed?
Do I need to change both rear tires..if the tire cannot be fixed?

Sounds like you might have a puncture. Check and see if there is a nail or screw in it.

Replace tire if it has a puncture, no need to replace both with only 300 miles.

You have a nail or foreign object in your tire. You will need to see your dealer. You have two options use the goo or pump up your tire with over pressure and drive straight to your dealer. If the light comes on enroute pull over before you ruin the rim...

With inly 300 miles you don't need to change both tires....and it sounds like you have a puncture somewhere....it could be as simple as a patch or as bad as a new tire....

Thx all for quick reply..I'll check if my dealer has stock on rear tires ASAP.. I did a quick check w/o moving the car, and was not able to find a visible nick.


It's around 25F at night, 40 during the daytime..for last couple days

If it is in a specific location you could probably patch but I would suggest replacing tire if you are even considering pushing the car at all or with track use. Extreme Heat is not friendly on tire patches!

It's either a puncture as others have suggested or just an incorrectly mounted tire. I take my new cars to a local shop for a more detailed new car prep - one of my winter tires from the factory was incorrectly mounted and had to be fixed.

No need for a new tire unless the nail/screw punctured through the corner or edge of the tire. save your money take you car to a proper tire shop and have them patch it from the inside (NOT PLUG) and drive as you would normally. I had many similar issues over the years never had a problem if the repair is done properly it will outlast the life of the tire.

Could also check for a tire valve leak. See if bubble forms in saliva placed at end of valve stem!

Check the stem. Porsche dealers will NOT repair the tire as a general rule. Make sure that the tire is not bad as they are under warranty. If it is indeed a puncture take it to a certified Michelin/Dunlop shop and ask for a patch the tire. If u have any plans to track get s new tire.

As a side comment I put on an expensive set of run flats on my X5 when the originals became toast. After a short while ot a puncture a one of the rears (actually two!). The dealer told me not repairable. The chain that sold them to me fixed them for free.

If they set the pressure in a warm environment then the cold might be lowering the psi. I would add air before doing anything else to see if it's just a simple fix.

Your tire needs to be fixed, or replaced.

Inflate tire and monitor loss of pressure. See if you have enough time to get to a dealer for the necessary work.
