ATXGT3, thanks for posting the pics. We went to COTA yesterday also. We had hoped to be in our GT3, but with the weather that had been forecast for last Thursday when we drove over from Houston, we decided to come in my wife's Cayenne S. We parked just a couple of spots to the east of that black X5 in your 2nd photo.
Being in the Cayenne, we bagged doing the parade lap. Sounds like you guys had fun with it in your proper machines!

It was fun--shocked that we got them over 100MPH on 'parade lap' There was a damn Panamera that was holding the group of two cars in front (no passing) so I held back a little to get some good runs. Hooking down the front straight was just amazing. Let me know next time you're bringing your beast to COTA.

I'm signed up for the edge event, the speed ventures one day currently, and hope to make the PCA run. Trying to workout wether I'll trailer the car from Dallas or drive it. Looking forward to it! Cheers!

Hey Sean - great to meet you as well. Your car looks great (and sounds amazing--what pipes do you have on it???). I did keep it to 5500 RPM...I promise :-) We kept that 'parade lap' going on the tollway home with a few others--ton of fun. We'll get the beasts together again in the near future.
Thank you, your GT3 was looking good as well...I need to clean my wheels ha! Looking forward to the next time for sure!
I have the Sharkwerks bypass and the Cargraphic 100mm "perforated" black tips. I left the valves plugged and really enjoy the ability to be semi-mild around town and still have it sound even more awesome when you are living in the higher RPMs ("sport exhaust" button always on of course). Highly recommend the bypass, and I think the Cargraphic tips look the best but that is a personal thing (tip of the hat to Sam from TX for modeling those early in the game!).
