In the "for what it is worth department" A little research shows another vehicle carrier the Cassiopeia Leader (I don't know what brand of cars on board) that was due in Houston on the 17th is just now docked. That ships ETA was two days before the Goodwood so if they are taking ships in turn that would mean two more days of "at anchor" for the Goodwood. Hope that is not the case. Again my dealer is unable to get any word out of the port as to why these delays are occurring.

My car is going to Stevinson in Denver, CO
I haven't yet decided whether I'll drive it to the NW from there or have it shipped up.... any recommendations or thoughts on doing a 1300 mile drive right upon delivery? It'll certainly take care of the break-in period.
I may try to hit 9K before exiting Denver

I can't say its been fun watching the Goodwood sit at anchor off Galveston for almost a week. My dealer has 9 cars on it and one is my new Cayenne Diesel tow car. The dealer has tried to contact the port but they are silent as to the delays. Original eta was 0001 GMT 19 March and now she just sits. I'm sure the crew is bored, but the there is at least fifty ships in the gaggle. By the way the latest plot shows the Bravery Ace outbound passing the anchored Goodwood and from what I heard the Bravery Ace left Emden five days after the Goodwood. ???

Goodwood taking off from Houston
The Goodwood has now left the docks in Houston 
so all unloading must be complete! ... hopefully with all cars safe and sound.
I caught it on one of the traffic web-cams as it left the dock - and yes - that is Goodwood on the picture! Safe it for your vehicle history books

They really hoofed it today! My car is already on a truck to the dealer!! I am only 4-5 hours from the port so possible she will be here tomorrow or Friday! I must admit, I'm starting to feel like a 6 year old on Christmas eve.

Anyone have the Upgraded MarineTraffic software that could give me latest position of the Goodwood?
The free version shows last position is 9/1/18. Due in Houston on 9/6. Tropical storm Gordon is right in the Goodwood’s path, unfortunately.
