I agree on the '14, especially those cars that never left the factory before the engine swap. Also the '14 had the most limited production run of 785 cars globally.

We shall see. Historically, lower volume years have held up better. The '14 was also the year that received all the awards. Of course, it also received the bad press for the two fires. I didn't buy mine as an investment...nobody should. My response was more along the lines of 14's being identical to 15's. You should see similar depreciation given the more important factors of condition, use and mileage.

My goodness this 14 vs 15 conversation never ends.....it's the fricking same car and the market is supporting both MY around MSRP for pre-owned 1 GT3 transaction prices. How long will that will last....who cares!!!!!! If you're in the market for one, find one that is equipped the way you want it, use the same diligence for any used car you would normally go through and if it checks out BUY IT, 2014 or 2015?! At this point if something catastrophic comes about it's very likely it will be present in both MY engines but life is too short to be consumed by something that hasn't happened yet!

I'd never buy a 14. Thats just my opinion. My dealer also made the comment to me that the 15's WILL have higher resale.

I'd have no issues buying a '14 whatsoever, especially one like this where the swap was done in Germany and it has 525 miles. Good move to change back to the red taillights. However, this car does not have the options I want but it's a beautiful car so good luck with the sale.

I am a dealer (another luxury make) and there is no way I can tell you if one model year is going to be worth more than another. All opinions. Having said that, these cars are toys we enjoy and not investments. Unless you have a really rare car, they are not great investment tools to begin with. Just my humble opinion.
