I have a new 991 GT3 with the standard CDR31 radio which I want to change to a unit with NAV and camera inputs. I don't want to cut the factory wiring harness so that I can put the CDR31 back in at time of eventual sale. Does anyone know if wiring harnesses are available for the 991 series cars with Pioneer or other manufacturers?

 

Suncoast sells a kit for the 997.2. I used it in my 2010 GT3. You still need to cut into the leads to the amp but you don't toss the plug. A new plug with leads is included so you can go back to stock with the factory plug. The sound plus amp was located under the passenger seat in the .2s. If it is still there they may not have change much.

 

Thanks Alan, thats useful...I will order that harness...hopefully the plug for the 997.2 GT3 is the same plug for the 991 GT3.
