Also, on a totally separate note i don't like the shape of the wheel and paddle setup nearly as much as Scud. Maybe i will get used to it but position of hands if you are working the paddles just doesn't feel as natural as scud setup. also im not sure why but turning the tires and driving sounds like the wheels are gonna fall off.. i assume the 4 wheel steering. |

For me it has become a DD.
I do use manual mode, not auto. FWIW I have an M3 and expected it to be my DD and the GT3 to a weekend car. Other than a few raining days over the past 60 days, my M3 has become very lonely :) |

the 991 gt3 is actually one of the easiest sport cars i have driven. it can feel a little too sporty as a dd but it is very acceptable to me. for the handling and performance of the car, i don't think there is a better sport car than the gt3 as a dd. maybe the tt/ tts? for example, people said r8 is very road friendly and etc. I have found gt3 is way lot easier to drive than the r8, and the handling is incomparable too, same to mp4-12c and 650s.

It's a great DD IMO and very easy to drive daily.

Normal auto mode is ludicrous how it shifts into 7th gear at low speed, bogging engine, in PDK sport drive, you'll be in 1st gear at 5k in traffic. It's loud, it's firm, lacks visibility out etc. Absolutely love it. But not as DD. Purely personal of course

You're right. I was up that way today...just nuts. If I had to drive that daily, well let's just say, I'm glad I don't have to. |
Car has it characteristics and idiosyncrasies. Not an S class but not a pickup truck for that matter. It is a great problem to have when one can claim a GT3 as a DD.
