Default What is Today's Market Price for a 2015 GT3?

I'm in the market for a new 991 GT3.
Some dealers have them, some don't.

What is the current market price for a new GT3?
MSRP? Something under MSRP? A lot under MSRP?

I've been told this late in the year and the pending RS release softened the price somewhat.

Appreciate any comments.
(Sorry if a similar thread was already posted)

Thank you.

^ +1 - MSRP at most, maybe some thing thrown in (clear bra etc) or a very small discount.

Key is do NOT cave to the stealers asking for 'market adjustment'.

Market is MSRP (maybe with a freebie thrown in). Most of what is left might be lacking a feature or two--so check closely. Lift and extended tank are two that I see some stragglers missing (and several without XM--which may or may not be important to you).

No premium for sure.

Any car will be discounted eventually, it just depends how long it sits on the showroom floor - I just don't think there will be any GT3s sitting on the showroom floor for too long, especially as production comes to an end.

Right, no premium for sure.
I'm flexible on equipment, depends on the car.
Lots of good advice, here, thanks.

Default Premiums are standard on West Coast

I've been shopping '15 GT3's for a couple of weeks across West Coast dealers that have allocations, and none have been willing to sell for less than $5K over MSRP. Not sure where you guys are finding cars at MSRP. They all explain that the factory isn't making any more of them, there are only XX remaining 2015's in the country, next generation will be turbo, etc. Most recent sales person told me there are only 40 left for sale. Could be a bunch of BS, but the fact remains that every dealer I've spoken to wants $5K-$20K over MSRP.

West Coast dealers generally are asking for an adjustment - in Norcal at least. Even secondhand 2014 cars with 3,500 miles on are going for $10k above MSRP! The last two new GT3's in one Norcal dealer had adjustments of $20k and the other $25k. Crazy but the sad thing is people are paying this so they'll keep pricing them with adjustments.

With allocations gone, supply is rapidly dwindling, and demand is growing as the reputation of the car spreads. I'd need a rather large premium over what I paid to sell mine at this point, and I suspect that many current owners feel the same way.

Agree! At least on the west coast you will be lucky to find one at Msrp. if you do and its closet what you want i would grab it. the flip side is in about 6 months I'm sure there will be used ones coming to market for about 5k under msrp!

Try checking the East coast. You can always get it shipped.

Not only are the last shipments coming in the next two months, but also Spring will start to hit and you will even see the used market get ramped up. Damn I'm glad I bought one of these beasts.

I don't see RS driving prices down. It's substantially more and harder to get.

There were a number available at MSRP on the east coast a few weeks ago, not sure of the current status.

These "premium" data points from dealers keep popping up, but again people on RL aren't selling their cars used in the private market and are asking for a small discount to MSRP.
