A pen will go in the drawer with every other pen I hardly use.

Would be nice if on 'limited' cars like GT3, they would send out a model car...now that would be something I would get excited about. Works for Ferrari.

No pen or books yet. I'm hoping for some type of book since I don't even have the sales brochure. The dealer was out by the time I went in to order.

Received my certificate of authenticity. Does it list your Exterior Color twice? My has the color listed twice.

Something like:
Exterior Paint Color
Carrara White
Carrara White

The letter said to let them know if there are any mistakes. It's a small thing, but seems odd to list the color twice unless the two line format is always used due to possible different exterior colors for the body and roof on cabriolets.

Porsche is sending out complimentary Certificates of Authenticity? In the past they were for purchase at about $100. In any event, I didn't receive one on my GT3.

I did receive a DVD entitled, The Porsche Way.

I didn't pay any specific fee for mine.

Hopefully I'll be getting a gift pack soon then. Does your certificate have the exterior paint listed twice like I mentioned in my post just above?

Whether you get a Certificate of Authenticity depends on your dealer. Most sign up for the program and you should get it within 3-4 months of purchasing a new vehicle.
If you have a used vehicle, you can purchase from PCNA by faxing them the application.

Also, I received a "Turbo" pen and package when I got my TTS.

Oddly, I've gotten three certs for my *one* GT2 RS. A nice touch, but still funny. Got none for my other cars.

Could anyone tell me if you received the welcome kit from FedEx, the US Post Office or UPS? Porsche told me mine was shipped but I haven't received it yet. Thanks for any info on this!

Thanks for the info. I am assuming mine is lost in transit. According to my dealer, one was sent to me on January 15 but it hasn't turned up. If I see my mail carrier with a GT3 pen in his pocket, I will know he decided to open it! Ha ha!

I was so happy with my SA and GM that I got them both a nice bottle of wine as a little thank you. I also Yelped an excellent review for them both as well as for my service director and service tech. These guys have been taking care of me by selling at MSRP, inviting me to a Porsche exclusive unveiling of the GTS pre-LA Auto Show and hooked me up with a post-break in oil change and I've been doing my best to return the kind thoughts. I believe the certificate usually costs $100.00 and that my SA and GM hooked me up with that too.

They've earned a life-long Porsche customer.
