A lot.

It would probably be best to see if you could swap for a Clubsport car. There are a couple for sale and i'm tempted to do the same. I took a cancelled order so had no choice over the spec.

Which seats are better? Then 918 seats or the other bucket seats?

I have both. A 918 set in the GT3 and a GT2 set in the Spyder. The 918 seats are better as long as you don't mind losing the folding feature to access the back.

Here in the UK it appears as the bucket seats were rarely optioned.

My guess is 25-35% of cars only so the std seat is by far the preferred choice from new in UK.

Lots of owners have bought delivery mileage cars at a premium over list (as high as 40% over invoice now on some cars) and therefore did not have ultimate choice on spec so it is not entirely unreasonable to think that someone has a car with buckets and they are never going to track it and would prefer the comfort of the std seat.

Thanks, here in the middle east only the GT2 seats are available. put that on my build list, but really would have liked the 918 seats..
Bothers me that I cannot tilt the whole seat as I don't like a position that is too upright.

Don't buy OE seats.
here is what I put in my Gt3, they are by far the best buckets I have ever sat in, very comfortable and extremely supportive at a fraction of OE price.

Really - I thought at least a third were ClubSport cars and I'm sure there are plenty of non-CS cars with buckets.

You are going to need a cage as well for the harness, right? I heard they are very difficult to get hold of . OEM ones at least.
