Yep, big time different buyers.

Also, 458 (non-Speciale) market right now is already quite soft and only going to get worse over the next 6-9 months. Summer will be a nice time to steal a regular 458.

Hope it drives down the price of the 996 GT3s to the point where I can afford one.

Always planned on keeping this one a long time, so really my answer is "no different now". Likely to add cars though.

The Euro 6 emission law came into effect on January 1 2015, so they have one year to keep selling these cars. The only way you can bypass it is if you had already announced that specific model before sept. 2014. Since I am not sure that the 991.2 categorizes as the same or a different model, I dont think there will be another GT3 NA, just GT3 RS that will be sold for the next year at most.

Dont take my word for it, but this is what I understood

I think last manual maybe holds some water, but as far as last NA...eh, don't know if that would effect my mindset collector wise...the speciale however...that may actually be a "last" na that could stick as being collectable.

Total bunk. All of it. This will not be the last NA GT3. Porsche has already been quoted as saying they will continue with NA on the GT line. Rest of the 911 lineup will go turbo. This is a nasty rumor that keeps spreading like herpes on prom night.

NA cars will still exist in the near and long term future. Forced induction in not a panacea for mileage, CO2 emissions, or efficiency. Every wonder why a Prius' engine is not turbo'd?

Many examples out there to wonder why this rumor keeps spreading. The whole global warming, CO2, politically correct mentality is a disease.

Lamborghini, Audi, even 'Suzuki's' made by the millions yearly in India are all NA. New mustang GT350 will be sold in Europe next year. Engine: 8,000rpm, 5.2L V8 - wait for it - NA.

/Thread.

Outside of the 'adult actress' in the avatar probably knowing a few things about herpes, the rest of the post and all others are ALL speculation.

However poll asked IF.

Yep...and sorry for the rant guys. Seems I might be wrong. See below:

Specifically asked when we would see a 918 type electric boost and he told me no way in 991.1, no way in 991.2, and testing currently in 992.
Told me all 991.2's are turbo. He told me there is the very very real possibility that this is the last NA GT3/RS. Mostly due to Euro 6 rules.
Also got lots of info on GT4 which I'd prefer not to post in the public forum but would be happy to reply by PM.

I hit sell/trade as normal - if its true I would rather hold onto as many RSs I can get my hands on...
