Default Post your snow and ice pics!

There's something about the GT3 and snow that I find so intriguing. Maybe it's not being able to drive it in the cold. I yanked the car out of its sleep and onto our yard this morning. GT Silver and snow...brrr!

Post some of your wintery pics here.

BTW, the cup tires not good for snow... pffftttt!

Hey cracking pics, who says they aren't practical all year round cars...

Newbie here but saw this thread and and thought I would join up and say hello and post one of my old one... It was taken up in the north east of Scotland. I no longer have the car but it stayed close by so I know it's still kicking about..

cheers

Matt

No worries mainly, it was nursed gingerly back to sleep in its cozy garage.

Matt, welcome. Your car looked awesome. What made you sell it?
Whereabouts in Eastern Scotland, St.Andrews way?

hfm, Mike. I'm on the tail end of Cumberland Plateau between Chattanooga and Nashville and we get 10 odd days of snow and ice every year. So it's more of a novelty for us. You guys in CA however put us to shame when it comes to sun, sand, and fine weather!

I just put my winter set of wheels on this afternoon. Not keen on driving in salt though...no way to clean the car!

Thanks Haku, I live in Aberdeen which is about an hour and half drive north of St Andrews.

I will be honest, I got fed up during the whole engine fire issues.. I collected my car on Christmas eve 2013 and drove it for a month then it sat in my garage for a few more and I lost interest so put the car back for a refund.
I am on the list for an rs so hopeful the dealer gets at least three as I'm third on their list.. I do miss it big time but the replacement car I bought is even quicker by fair margin and even more extreme.
Cheers

P, spring will soon be here and you'll appreciate the car a whole lot more. Now that snowmobile sure looks fun!

Re the GT3 that's a shame. I feel for you.
I'm and ex-Londoner and used to drive up there a fair bit. Usually drove up to Thurso and then the ferry to Orkney.
The replacement?...pray tell...pics appreciated.

Ah that's cool, plenty of great driving roads up north, sure you will have done a few of them if you drove all the way up to Orkney!

New car is a caterham r620, so lightweight and 620bhp per tonne.

It's killing me man. Took delivery in December. I haven't even put her into a turn yet due to obvious traction reasons.

Snowmobiling gets me through winter. At least I have something fast and fun to drive in the snow. That sled is a turbo with work done to it. Around 250hp. It's an animal.

Matt, that is awesome!
Are they still a private company? Whose engines are they now using?
