Hey.
That's great news!
If there were no leaks it just simply means fraulein who usually installs steering wheels forgot the freon at the factory and the nose picker who pulls the white plastic off the wheels, roof and hood at the dealer just didn't try it when he checked the boxes with his un-sharpened pencil in between checking Justin Beiber's twitter feed and telling his buddy what he wanted from Burger King for lunch.
Most people in the world think QC is overrated. Bah!

You most likely have a leak somewhere... That's why it was empty in the first place. But if you're a professional technician and care about your customers, you don't just fill the system up and " Have a Nice day! " you put vacuum and see if it holds, make sure there's no moisture in the system and change the receiver/drier to make sure that doesn't happen.

Just did a successful lemon law claim for another P car due to air conditioning. If it's the evaporator, it will be a difficult and time consuming process. Best of luck.

...and the same story here. After the annual spring oil change I noticed an unusual hissing sound from the vent area. The weather was not warm so I dismissed it. As spring just showed up, I noticed no A/C and mentioned that to the dealership when I brought it back in. They couldn’t find a leak so they topped it up, mentioning they put a dye in to help find the leak if it happens again. Let’s we what happens.

My guess is that an O-ring seal has been compromised.

But automobile A/C systems are very similar so I'm able to fiddle around with my cars too.
Adding dye to the system is one way to (possibly) pin-point a leak, but an A/C specialist will have a "sniffer" to chase down leaks. It looks something like a butane BBQ lighter with a fancy little sensor at the tip. You poke it around all the joints and likely leak points and it goes off sort of like a Geiger counter when it detects leaking refrigerant.
I'm just an ordinary amateur DIY guy and I own one and your Porsche dealer should have one too, but it would be no surprise if he doesn't have such a device. And chances are your local Porsche dealer doesn't actually have a genuine A/C tech working there. More than likely, it's a mechanic with some knowledge of A/C and as you already found out, they are not doing a very good job when it comes to repairing your car.
I've spent plenty of time chasing down and repairing leaking refrigeration systems on various cars and boats and it can be difficult and even maddening sometimes. The guy working on your car could very well be an A/C genius with a run of bad luck, but don't count on it.
Do not give up. At some point you may get frustrated enough to pay a specialist shop to have a look and at least locate your leak so your dealer can repair it. Good luck.
