It was great, just a short one for a few guys, This drive will took us from Buford, GA > Cornelia, GA > Hwy 197> Clarkesville, GA > Lake Rabun, GA >Hwy 76 > Clayton, GA > Warwoman Road > Hwy 28 > Highlands, NC (Ugly Dog Public House – Lunch).. Reverse headed home. 50 degrees/Sunny in the Highlands. This was a last minute drive organized on Wednesday. Normally we have 10-30 Porsches on the drives. We do both Guy drives and couples drives.

Maverick, Thanks for motivating us to get out early yesterday. Awesome drive down to Buckhead and even better company once I got there. I really enjoyed meeting you guys.

rm21, Thanks for posting the pictures. You will be happy to know that I washed and detailed my car the moment I got home. It now properly represents GT Silver Metallic! Now we can take proper comparison shots.

P-Car777, I would definitely like to do AMP with you and rm21. Let me know when you guys are going there next and I will try to meet you.

MARK MARCH 7TH ON YOUR CALENDARS as PCAR Touring will be hosting a day for Porsches at Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP)

Currently we have 50+ Porsches expressing serious interest in participating in this PCAR event.

We have chosen Saturday March 7th for our 1st Annual PCAR Touring day at Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP).http://www.atlantamotorsportspark.com/events/

* Day of AMP track driving in your car
* Half day of Auto Cross/Skill/Ice pad driving in your car
* AMP Track Tour Laps….. No charge

Most likely we will run 4 groups as follows:
A - Beginner
B - Intermediate
C - Advanced
D - Race Prepped Car or Comp. Lic. Driver

This day is open to all PORSCHE drivers, only requirement is that they register for the PCAR Touring Data Base prior to the event.

Spectators and volunteers for the day are welcome.
