Seat belt change out?

Seat belt change out?
Was wondering if anyone ever switched out their seatbelts themselves? Would like to swap mine to red, was quoted $570 labor by the dealer was just wondering if it was easy?

FWIW I asked a dealer to change belts on another car (two seater) and they told me it would be a big job as you have to take panels, etc off to get at the mechanisim so I can beleive it's not a two minute job. $570 doesn't surprise me.

I had the belts swapped out to red upon delivery and the dealer charged 4 hours. I made the case that it was too long, particularly when Suncoast Parts said 3 tops.

I listed red belts on my order but they somehow got left off. A week bit more to add them after the fact.

I had same issue - red belts were listed on the options alone with red-stitching and somehow got left out when the order was placed, it was too late to change.
Dealer said that they will swap the belts when the car gets to them and the cost will be the same as the red belts option $350.

Suncoast had them available. I asked the dealer about swapping belts and they said it is more involved than you would think. The 3 hour time sounds about right.
