Depends on the application.
Turbocharging is getting harder to deny as it improves and whittles away at older problems. Compared to NA, less sharp throttle response, less exciting sound (to some) and a modest weight gain are the only disadvantages for street use.
I chose a Turbo over a GT3 for practicality reasons, not so much the extra power, although it's addictive once you experience it.

Turbo is acceptable if they can make high rev, NA like throttle response , NA type sound . Outside of f40 , i haven't seen this yet. For a DD turbo is fine , for weekend and track NA only for me.

If you were ever going to buy a Ferrari you ought to buy one now. I do not care how fast the turbo cars will be they will still lack the soul of a NA engine.

The 911's are right there with them. The GT3's should be spared for a little bit and remain NA for the near future. The rest of the 911 model line is on the fast track there. Possibly this year with the 991.2

If you want any sports car with a NA engine, better buy now......regulations will spell certain doom for NA engines. Especially with the HP numbers that most are expecting from manufacturers.

I miss the scary acceleration of my old TT. Hoping one day Porsche will make the TT with a proper red line and engine note. When that happens, I'll be back in that saddle.

It's pretty pathetic really...until they can control our style of driving(and they will) Turbos are pretty much useless.
Who owns a Turbo performance car and drives it slow so that Turbos won't boost too much...

I loved my GR 997.2 Turbo. But; if I had to be critical it was a little heavy(all-wheel drive), exhaust note sucked but remedied that a little with an FVD full sport exhaust, and it did have that split second lag which I did not like. It was still a great car with excellent steering feel but I love my GT3 and prefer it over the Turbo
