Back, in Black
In 2004, I ordered a 996 GT3. It would be a 2005 model year, Carrara White with red seat belts. After 2 very fun years, I came to the realization that with 2 teenage girls, and two impending college tuitions to pay for, it wasn’t the right time in my life to have a $100,000 toy in the garage. So I sold it.
Fast forward 10 years; (how time flies!) both my girls have graduated college, (Fight On!) and I just took delivery of a Jet Black Metallic, 2015 GT3! It’s a pretty light spec - sport seats, Alcantara w/ red stitching, front axle lift and that’s about it. I’ve only driven it about 80 miles so far, and haven’t gone above 5k RPM’s, but WOW doesn’t even begin to describe this car! It’s everything I was hoping it would be and more. I worried that I might miss the manual, but as most have stated, the PDK-S is amazing.
So happy to be, “Back, in Black”!
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.
