For the way the OP is using them it's perfectly fine. Indoors loosely it's a no brainier. If somehow you'd see condensation building up under the plastic it would be evident. This does not seem to be the case!

Look at the Porsche OEM OUTDOOR covers. They truly are waterproof and don't breath. Same concept, but under harsher conditions.
