Default Joining the Fold- Got this 2015 GT3!!

Well I was always going to get the car and come back to Porsche (I recently sold a 2014 Turbo S, owned 996 Turbo, 997.1 Turbo, 997.2 Turbo, and 991 C4S). The only question was when and I was eyeing this open build (2015) for about 2 weeks. Its not a perfect build; that's what a order car is for, but it has all I wanted and then some. Of course its white!!! For the many who are owners here, what I'm typing below is redundant.

What a car this thing is... The handling, the steering, the aural lift at 6k plus rpms and the interior just takes the cake. Now it doesn't have all the luxury items the Turbo S had but I don't care. Hell my Ferrari doesn't even have homelink LOL. The experience with my short drive home from the dealer (about 60 miles) was nothing short of brilliant. The car is flatter in turns and in straights than even, dare I say, the 458. Its a pancake of love and its the easiest driver Ive ever owned. Now I do need more seat time and I will provide more input vs the Turbo S. The exhaust is excellent- maybe just a little too docile at low rpms but the SW bypass will solve that or I can just plug the valves. I have really grown accustomed to the amazing 991 chassis (this is my third) and to drop weight, add hp, and put it in the GT3 is incredible. This PDK ala PDK-S (mode I've only used) is the fastest programmed PDK I've owned and I have had 4 Porsche PDK's. Did I mention the handling? This car is driver bliss and while its not as fast as the Turbo S its more rewarding. The Turbo S is truly a GT car and this is a race car for the street. Im having a blast!!!

I will say that the Jag (my F Type R) still has the best stock exhaust out there. I wont say the note is the best in the Jag because the sound of the GT3 LeMans style shrieks are crazy. I would just say the Jag has the most to say db wise. I cant believe I just recently joined this excellent forum... so much intel and thought. Its an honor to be part of the group.

Here are a few cell phone shots:

Oh I have another 9k rpm machine as well:

Congrats! Nice early Christmas pick-up. I was surprised the GT3 had homelink when I picked mine up - had assumed it would, but still haven't gotten around to setting it up as I'm too used to living without it.

Congrats! It's a beauty. Look forward to hearing your comparison to the 458...

LOL Ironically yes he did... I walked in asked for Glen Fagin and 6 guys stood up

All joking aside Glen has been legit with my acquisition from the initial email inquiring about the GT3.

That must be a tough choice to pick what you should drive each morning. Congrats
