Default Worst "For Sale" ad for a 991 GT3 ...

2014 Porsche 911 GT3
freakishly awesome silver, ceramics, full leather
msrp $148K
currently 2800 miles, surely over 3000 miles
no over revs, no stories
updating to get sport buckets
For sale at msrp or best offer
Not looking to profit or make a charitable donation
Prefer Rennlister than eBay, otherwise it goes back to the dealer for their profit, which is fine, but I'd rather get a higher price to me for a private sale, currently has assumable Porsche Financial lease and wheel insurance, which I'll include pro-rata.

I think I'm missing the joke here. What's wrong with the ad?

There's no joke,he's just selling the car. I guess he's trying to say he's not the best when it comes to formulating a for sale ad,but I might be wrong...
Either way,it looks fine to me,it's just missing pics and GLWS!

I guess Carrera GT and I are more analytical people. To me it seems written by child. Theres no asking price. "not looking to profit or make charitable donation"? Is "freakishly awesome silver" a paint to sample color?

I guess I just would have written something more concise. I hope he sells the car too

Ah I am dumb. I hadn't realised the comment in the subject was about his own ad!

MSRP asking price for a 2014 with 3K miles????

You can find 2015's NEW at MSRP if you look around.

Plus, isn't there a classified section? Who wants the boards bogged down with for sale ads?

Or is it a lease take over??

"has assumable Porsche Financial lease and wheel insurance, which I'll include pro-rata."

If you don't have anything positive to say,it's best to remain silent. Why do you have to comment on the price? Does it come out of your pocket?
Clogged 991GT3 section?! Just look at the stupid " desperation " threads and retarded questions : like "why no entry and drive, parking sensors and no latte machine " in a GT3!
Not everyone visits the " For Sale " section and AFAIK,he has the right to post here for more coverage since he is a paying member.

And STG991, also a paying member has the right to post comments anywhere he pleases. What's good for the goose. . .

Perhaps heed your own advice. The lack of a latte machine is really frustrating to some.

I've learned it's not nice to make negative comments on someone's For Sale thread whether he's a paying member or not....

I was just using examples to counter the " clogged " 991GT3 section comment...

I meant no offense to the OP regarding price. I thought it would be pretty obvious to 99.9% of the educated members here that my comment was correct. I thought I'd maybe give him a little dose of the current market.

As far as the "retarded questions" comment, who's calling the kettle black here?

What's wrong with a GT3 with a built in latte machine? You need keyless entry, parking sensors, Bluetooth, and a backup camera when drinking a coffee don't you? Listening to a little Burmeister wouldn't hurt either!
