The wake up call will come when the buyer wants to resell at some point.

There are some good '15 builds around at MSRP on the ground available now, not sure why anyone would pick this one up other than convenience?

Here's one sitting on my dealers showroom floor as an example:

I know another dealer 5 miles up the road also had a black one a couple of weeks ago in their showroom.

This was exactly my position. my local dealer had two of the buybacks, both ended up selling OVER MSRP, about 8-12k over msrp, I was interested in one, but ended up just ordering a 15, so I wouldn't have the stress when it came time to move it for the RS.

I feel this is the end of selling over MSRP.. 14's are going to take a dip due to the engine swaps and 15's will start to decrease as so many of them are hitting the market.. Like people are saying they are pretty much everywhere if you're looking.... It even looks like the .2's have started to go down as well.. Its just economics.. supply/demand.. Nobody wants to realized depreciation value but its a fact.. Unless you're in the very beginning of the hype most likely you're going to always loose out.. Now there will always be those that have no understanding of the market and walk in and overpay.. Just never happens to me....

100% agree - I think that PCNA threw so many '15 allocations at dealers last minute, they had no choice but to order a lot of them for stock. With the bucket delays, they've all been pulled forward on the line so there will be a lot of inventory sitting around by the end of the year.

Yep - I had the privileged of sitting in this one last week. I'm still thinking about pulling the trigger ...

Porsche of Manhattan gets one or two in today (a white and an agate one I think).

No point in buying a tarnished 14'.

I ordered mine which is just waiting for a truck or I would have grabbed the Rhodium one. IMO, any of those 3 are great colors, I think the only bad call is not getting one while you can

Yes, very true. The Rhodium one is nice but it didn't have the red stitching and something else that I'm not remembering right now. I don't know, we'll see.

The white one Manhattan is getting today is almost a stripper.

Decisions decisions ...

I guess the hope is over. I feel bad if anyone paid premiums on them. San Antonio dealership has 3 2014 at sticker price. I'm sure could be negotiable. i personally have no second thought, the car is epic and I love it. A keeper

Makes me wonder what the market price will be once all of the March cars show up. Even sticker may seem ridiculous by then once there are some sitting on the dealer lot when yours arrives.

It's still low production. 1500-2000 cars worldwide is not much. People make it sound like there are parking lots full of them, when the reality is a handful at best.

Supply seems greater than demand right now, but we'll see where we are in a year or so. I'm glad I kept the price 'reasonable' on mine by keeping options limited, since that should help with resale if/when that day comes. But my hope is that the car will be a long-term keeper.
