Default My GT3

It's on the Kentucky Highway.

Likely will get to my dealer in the first half of January.

Keep in mind due to trucking issues, cars are taking about 3 weeks from Davisville to dealers. Industry issue is reduction in covered car carriers.

Thanks for the tip about the 3 week delay.

Next up: Mermaid Ace, right now anchored outside Emden

Kinda doubtful about that, since it hasn't even docked yet

Fowwiee, this is true from Davisville. Mine is on the Kentucky Highway. My previous 2014 GT3 arrived in Davisville and was told it would be at least 3 weeks to get to my dealer in the midwest.

I asked several people at Porsche as they were paying me $2,000 a month until I got my car, I offered to hire a private truck to pick it up at about $1,200 if they would reimburse me. They responded all the cars must be shipped to the dealer by a Porsche contracted trucking company.

I then went higher up in PNA and the person I know put my car on the next truck to the midwest and got it the next day.

There is an overall shortage of covered trucks and drives due in part to the increased production of US cars and cars being imported to the US.

As I live in Chicago, I could care less when my 2015 arrives. I will drive it when the Arctic thaw hits Chicago in the spring.

Mine also took three weeks to get from San Diego to Reno.....a 9 hour drive. Just be patient and it will be there soon enough.

Ok, just revised my expectation. 3 weeks it is then... Nothing much I can do about it.

Thanks for the heads up btw! It really would suck, if I was expecting my car to be here in 3 days, when it actually shows up 3 weeks later. Now, with your heads up, I can go and do other stuff for 3 weeks before getting all excited!

yes it is, and I'll be sure to grab a few sat tracks along the way. For my C4S I was on the Tianjin Highway so now I'll have been on 1 "Highway" ship and 1 "Ace" ship.
