Exclamation Yellow PCCB's, Yellow belts, w/Red stitching...

Currently have my car spec'd with steel brakes, red belts and stitching.

Pretty sure I'm gonna switch to PCCB's but would like to tie in with Yellow belts.
But yellow belts would look odd with Red stitching, wouldn't it???

I just like the Red stitching because it pops much more than the gray.

Why on earth did they not offer YELLOW stitching!!!!

I would get silver Stitching.

Mine Racing Yellow, with PCCB, yellow belts, silver stitching. It's on the Boat, so if your build doesn't lock for a while I might be able to post pics...

I've seen both silver and red stitching in person and prefer silver, but it's very personal.

Mine is White Exterior with PCCB, Platinum stiching, yellow belts.

I like the red stitching A LOT as it pops more than the platinum stitching but don't like yellow brakes with red stitching. Others have done that combo, I would not...

FWIW, I got PCCBs, with yellow belts, and platinum stitching.

I think if you want to do red stitching, you should switch to red seatbelts, and maybe throw in some red dials.

Red stitching with yellow belts is, um, a bit too Ronald McDonald-ish.

I feel I'm in the same boat with your perception of it.

I would definitely keep the Red belts, but optioned white dials.
I thought the same as the McDonald's comparison!

This is one of the reasons why I switched to GR. I can go all red inside and the yellow PCCB won't look out of place..

I think Porsche wants you to buy a red or yellow car.

feel strongly that a car with PCCB yellow brakes and belts should not have red stitching... so busy... I personally feel even that the silver stitching everywhere is too busy...so I got standard interior

I specced my White with PCCB to have Yellow belts and platinum stitching. I really like the red stitching but it would have been too disjoint.

I'll tell you what is did with mine. I decided I wanted red stitching just because I like it better then platinum. I also wanted PCCB ... I went with red belts as it would match the stitching. Then if I didn't like the yellow brakes , I could have them painted red for a few bucks. I now have the car, and have decided not to paint the calipers, you never really see the calipers and the stitching together.

The stitching choices are illogical. If Porsche made the effort to offer platinum and red then why not yellow? Or just black, which is a truly neutral choice, and red as the only color. These corporate decisions are clearly about keeping out sourced costs down rather than customer satisfaction. Guess a $150K car doesn't carry much weight these days.

i REALLY wish they had offered all black, I would have leathered up the hell out of the cockpit... I love that neutral all-business look, as they have offered on many other interiors throughout the years..

I have seen cars with red stitch, red seat belts and other red bits with yellow dials and it looks really good to my eye.

If the yellow was available that is how I would have spec'd it.

I can understand that red/yellow sounds busy, but in the car, it looks great!!

I ordered racing yellow with PCCBs. I Also did red stitching and red belts though. Probably in the minority but I think it will look great. I personally think the red belts look better with the red stitch than doing yellow ones, no matter what color the brakes are. Just my opinion though.
