OT: early Speciale with $5,000 markup

The fact that you are asking about it in terms of income vs net worth is all you need to say.
Your Balance Sheet should support the purchase and you should look at the car as, most probably, costing you 3k per month to own in depreciation plus the interest if you borrow money. That is whether you pay cash or finance.
It's awesome that you have a great income at 27.... presumably a gross income of north of a million a year based on reverse math.
I have a Speciale on order now, just trading in 2014 458, my allocation just came in. Lower option car in Corsa with NART stripes. Probably $330 out the door or less. I will probably pay cash and would probably not buy it if that made any kind of dent in my financial position.
GT3RS also coming later this year, same deal there.
Best of luck to you!

The reason I don't pay cash is I have safe investment plan to get at least 20% growth annually.

Well, I don't wanna talk about how much I make in this thread. In fact, I am only 27 but I have my own financial goal, I only spend 10% of my monthly income, including the monthly payment of the Speciale. I re-invest the rest of the 90% to make more money. This is what I mean by saying "easily afford", please correct me you think I am spending too much.
Well, it seems you have plenty money and are not living beyond your means. Why is it even a question>>>>>> you already seem to understand money quite well and are killing it at 27.

Based on what I have read you probably should pass.
That is just my gut. Not questioning if you have the means but if you have to think this hard you probably have to make some compromises(future) to get it. So to drop ~ 360,000 on a toy you should not have to make any compromises. - just my $.02

Shoot, every one is saying YES. The price is and is not OK to me. I can easily afford that by doing a 5+ years finance with some down payment. But I am still arguing with myself whether I deserve a Ferrari. It's just too expensive, more than 2 GT3. I didn't sleep well last night, just feel guilty to my wife, my mom and myself...
Sure, the Speciale is a Ferrari that will hold value very well, but at $300,000+ I don't see the point in spending that money when you can drive a GT3 at less than half the cost and get say 85-90% of the performance of a Speciale.
Ferraris are great and all but they are a hassle to be honest. Excited to get back to Porsche, I had many in the past but have not owned one since my 997 Turbo back in 08.

Have you actually asked the dealer if you can take his slot?....I can tell you that your scenario would not fly one bit at my dealer....not a chance....

Thanks man! What options did you order? I had blu nart, afs, lifter, parking sensor and camera, about 30,000 usd equavelent. I intially wanted less options but the dealership refused that

The worry/hassle/budgeting dissappear when you actually have enough money to truly own something, which is the total cost of insurance, storage, long term maintenance, and potential repairs, not just the cost of acquistion. This is true for a 20K track toy all the way to a Gulfstream V.
