I noticed the first time I drove the car. I guess it is subjective, I just do not care for how it looks and I will continue to look for an acceptable solution that I can live with.

Any 2015 extended leather dash with sport chrono deliveries? I'd like to see pics. If the stitching is still a circle behind the sport chrono, I'm going to save my $1700.

1. Non-extended leather dash without SC but with sound package plus
2. Extended leather dash with SC and sound package plus

I just took delivery today, Like #1 above, 2015, leather interior with 18 way (missed out on buckets due to lock date), non-extended leather, Sound package plus, and no SC. The speaker grill is the bigger size, like in the config. pic. At work right after putting her in the garage...no pics yet

See post #57 above. That is a 2015. Mine is the same. It is odd that the speaker vent is a different shape with and without SC.

That is interesting. I agree the circle does not look as nice. My first impression was it looks like a coaster to put your drink. But I think without the red stitching would not draw as much attention and wouldn't stick out as much.

It appears that non sport crono, extended leather dash and probably sound package, will get the round speaker.

The issue seems to be not as much with the round speaker, but the fact that the large rectangular area where one piece of leather joins with another does not have stitching… The whole reason people pay so much money for the extended leather dash – is to have every joint have stitching.such an obvious visible piece missing it, is a huge eyesore and really makes that $1700 option a lot less attractive

Lots of great input and comments, does anyone has any ideas on the best way to resolve the issue. As I see it now I have two options one is to try and have porsche fix it as it was originally shown on CONFIGURATOR or secondly have a SC installed. Any ideas?

Maybe they will install SC in its place, rather than go through the hassle. It is a big thing, as it was purchased for "esthetics" only, as there is no added function. And when they changed the "esthetics" without telling you, it became their problem. I would start barking, just like the 18 way memory seat guys.
