i just thought of a cool mod for the black gt3. since you cant read the PORSCHE GT3 lettering on the back, replace it with white lettering!
this was the reason i canceled black and got gt silver instead. i thought it was pointless to have a gt3 with black on black lettering and have no one even know what car you were driving. its pretty silly when you think about it.
i was set on black but couldnt think of a way to also make the lettering visible. chrome lettering obviously wouldnt look right on a gt3, red would be ok, but still a little hard to read.
but white does work cause didnt the black gt2rs come with white lettering? even though it may be painted on....
Are you saying that Porsche was silly to not provide light colored letters for dark cars or that you're silly to care that other people know what you're driving?

.
maybe its silly for the latter...

I quite like subtle details like black raised lettering on a black car. But I think that white would look sharp too. Chacun a son gout!
Black car crossed my mind along with the black lettering. To me, if I had a choice [but we don't] of the black vs white lettering, I would of stayed with the black. My .02
The black looks simply sick. Especially with red brakes and red deviated stitching inside. Love it
That is an awesome combination. even better with a red roll bar in the back window. BUT I just can't work with black for a color to take care of - it drives me crazy...
As requested, here are some other photos of my garage that I recently had renovated. My contractor did a great job and it became a race to get it done before my GT3 arrived which ended up being delivered a month early. The tile is porcelain PEI 5 from rocatilegroup.com. It is unpolished anthracite 24" x 24" with tile number: fm20760311 for anyone who is interested.
I'll spare everyone the before photos as it was an utter mess, essentially unrecognizable compared to what it is now. The garage doors are a semi-opaque glass so light is transmitted. The lights are LEDs from bigasslights.com. Each fixture is 20000 lumens, so 80000 total. They are motion sensored. The garage door openers are side mounted so no chains over the bays. Cabinets are from Costco. I looked into some more expensive cabinet companies that had better quality, but at 3 times the price. Costco made more sense to me and the cabinets are pretty good anyway. This garage is a project I've wanted to do for years and what better time than before the GT3 arrived? I don't have any decent outdoor photos of my car yet, but will add them soon.

Great job, want to do mine now. Looks like an operating room. Love the garage door openers on the side.
