That looks fantastic. And indeed (as bronson said), I'm very interested in the story of this car. RickIrons, can you please tell us more about this car--like what model year, and how it got approved for Sport Classic grey? AFAIK, the last PTS GT3's were MY2015 (and most were left over unbuilt MY2014 PTS cars), and at that time, Sport Classic grey was not publicly known to be an approved colour.
The first Sport Classic grey we recently heard about was on January 22, 2016, when a 2016 Boxster Spyder was spotted.
It seems like people probably got wind of Sport Classic being available in mid-late 2015, but then it only was possible to order for MY2016 cars like the Boxster Spyder and RS.
So, this Sport Classic grey GT3 is a very unusual anomaly. Is it a MY2016 with PTS? Is it the very first Sport Classic car (before the other "earliest" 2016 Boxster Spyders came to light)? Please post more about it. Thanks!
PTS ordering was 'normal' on the 991 gt3 on for MY2014.
Only few were delivered before the 'Stop Sale'. And those scheduled for
late MY2014 production were the only ones allowed to be transferred as
PTS into MY2015 production in the US. We (USA) then got the 30 late
allocation PTS MY2015 gt3's in only three colors...but it ended there.
There were no PTS allowed for MY2016 gt3 for any Porsche market
that I am aware of!

I don't have that much information to be honest. I know it took my friend a while to get the color approved. The car was ordered pretty early but got held back due to the engine troubles. I think he took delivery in late summer 2014 or early fall.
He is a longtime customer and his company ordered a few Ps in the past.
The car has a lot of carbon trimming inside as well as the bucket seats. He also had some work done at TechArt with the engine. I will try to get some more information the next time I see him.

Taken with my seven a few days ago before a canyon carving session with my little bro.
When asked which car he would take, he struggled but settled on the GT3. "It's the all around package." I was thinking of selling the seven, but am not sure I can after that session driving the two cars back-to-back on the same stretch of road. Each is so different on so many levels, each satisfying in different ways.
