Anybody take their dogs on rides/trips in their GT3? I know, it's probably a stupid question...but we have a 60 lb. setter....that we'd love to take on our road trip this weekend....bad idea????

Sure...
I just put a sheet over the seat to contain the shedding. But I don't take road trips but to Car Shows at times.. He's 80LBS

There are multiple issues; the tolerance of the owner, the size and temperament of the dog and the safety factor. My 65 pound Lab would be very unhappy in the rear area and if sitting in the passengers seat, I'd be concerned about her interfering with me, and being unrestrained, possibly going through the windshield. Maybe your setter would tolerate sitting quietly in the back.

Go for it. It's just a car. A little shedding and drool on the windows will only add character.

I'm afraid my dog would eat part of the interior... like he did in my wife's Cayenne.
But I do have a book recommendation for you. If you like cars, racing, and dogs, this one will be the best book you've ever read.

I have. Actually two at the same time. My girlfriend's Chihuahua and my French Bulldog. Both on a blanket though. They love it and think it's the best car in the world!
